However, Zuckerberg does have a point in this matter, which is regarding the kind of attitude that brands who face such harsh words should adopt. Its an indication that they're passionate about your brand, and they are just a bit away from loving the brand. So, brands should embrace the haters as they can turn into one of the most passionate advocates of a particular brand.

She even went on to share an example of her friend's son who would point at the computer and call it Grandpa because he used to communicate with him through Skype and thought that his grandfather lived in the computer.

In the end, it's impossible to ignore the fact that whether for better or for worse, social media is on the rise and shows no signs of slowing down.
